The Capoeiragem Conference 2011 will introduce and pay homage to two Capoeira great masters - Mestre João Grande, from Bahia Capoeira old guard, and Mestre Gato, from Grupo Senzala, Rio de Janeiro. As a meeting point for the European Capoeira community, it will also serve as a perfect platform for exchanging knowledge and experience. And we won’t just be thinking about ourselves either: the event will also fundraise for BIDNA, a very worthwhile charitable organisation using Capoeira to help children in the Middle East.
